Traveling to Berlin in February offers a unique experience with fewer crowds and a nice atmosphere. The city’s iconic landmarks, such as the Brandenburg Gate and the Berlin Wall, are often surrounded by a peaceful winter landscape. Visitors can enjoy the city’s cozy cafes and hearty German cuisine, perfect for warming up. Berlin’s museums and galleries provide a rich cultural escape from the chilly weather.

The city offers a nice range of different (limited) art exhibitions, look it up, book and go! Also don’t forget to bring a visit to the Reichstag and the holocaust memorial. Despite the cold, the city’s vibrant nightlife and events keep things exciting.

Traveling to Barcelona in wintertime is enjoyable with its mild weather and fewer tourists. Famous landmarks like La Sagrada Família and Park Güell are less crowded, making visits more pleasant. Beaches are great for a scenic walk, even if it’s too cold for swimming. Watch out, it could be windy. The city’s vibrant culinary scene, with cozy tapas bars and cafes, offers a warm retreat, don’t forget to try empanadas en patatas bravas. Barcelona’s unique architecture and lively streets ensure there’s always something to explore.

The weather is milder in March, perfect for enjoying après-ski on sunny terraces. With fewer crowds, it’s easier to hit the slopes and find good deals on accommodations.

Austria will always be my go to country for skiing.

When it is winter time, bring Brussels a visit. The city sparkles with holiday lights and vibrant Christmas markets, creating a magical atmosphere. I always love to try different chocolates or waffles. You can visit different museums, Christmas markets or just walk around. Walking in Brussel is already an experience on its own.

Despite the chilly weather, Brussels’ welcoming cafes and bustling energy make it a perfect winter destination.
