Turkïye

Kusadasi will always remain one of my favorite destinations. Although temperatures can soar to 40 degrees Celsius in the summer, the Mediterranean Sea offers quick relief. From stunning beaches to charming markets and crystal-clear waters, Kusadasi has it all. The people are incredibly friendly, and there’s a delightful atmosphere that alone makes it worth a visit. And let’s not forget about the food – delicious durums, pizzas, pitas… hmm! Be sure to try pide; it’s a must! Just a three-hour drive away is Pamukkale, which is definitely worth a visit. Here, you’ll find breathtaking salt flats and ruins. Kusadasi, you have my heart forever.

Spain

Spain never gets boring! Each place has its own special something that makes it unique. It’s a super popular destination for good reason. You can find anything you want there – from lively parties to sightseeing to awesome surfing spots.

Take Ibiza, for example. Sure, it’s known for its wild parties, but it’s also got some seriously beautiful beaches, a cool downtown area, and fun hippy markets. Just remember to bring some cash for the bus rides around the island.

And then there’s Barcelona – no need to say much about that city. It’s perfect for a quick three-day trip. You can chow down on tasty patatas bravas, sip on cheap cocktails, and check out some amazing sights. If you’re up for some action, try surfing! The west coast of Spain is a surfer’s paradise, with waves that suit everyone from beginners to pros. Plus, you’ll get to soak up some incredible nature along the way.

In Spain, there’s always something fun to do and explore – it’s a traveler’s dream come true!

Italy

Ahhhh bella Italia – what a place! My senior class trip in 2022 was a blast as we toured through Italy, and let me tell you, it’s something you’ve got to experience too!

Italy is packed with history – seriously, you won’t believe it until you see it. In just 10 days, we hit up about 15 historical sites and museums, and each one was totally worth it.

Make sure you’ve got comfy shoes because in Italy, you walk everywhere. But don’t worry, treat yourself to some incredible pizza along the way. I still crave those Italian slices!

And when you’re there, don’t miss out on Florence, Rome, Capri, Sorrento, Pompeii, and Naples. Oh, and don’t forget to try some delicious tiramisu and limoncello – it’s a must!”

‘Tourist in own country’

You don’t have to go far to enjoy your free days. Explore your own country. Belgium may be small but has some nice things to offer. It has very pretty zoo’s like Pairi Daiza and Antwerp zoo. The cities all have their own charm with own history and medieval buildings. Make sure to visit Bruges and Brussels. Belgium is home to some amazing festivals like Pukkelpop and Tomorrowland. Tip: you can go free if you work there as a jobstudent 😉

Netherlands

Traveling to Amsterdam is an exciting adventure. The city is famous for its picturesque canals and historic buildings. You can visit world-class museums like the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. Amsterdam is also known for its vibrant markets and delicious street food, such as stroopwafels and herring. Exploring by bike is a popular and enjoyable way to see the city.
